Theoretical Machine Learning (Fall 2026)

Presentation Overview

The final part of the course (30% of your grade) will consist of student presentations on recent research papers in theoretical machine learning, with an emphasis on papers related to current developments in AI. Students will (most likely) work in a group of two. Each group will study an assigned paper in depth, give a presentation explaining its main results, key technical ideas, and their significance, and answer questions during the presentation. More details, including the teammate/paper/date assignment as well as grading criteria, will be provided later in the semester once the enrollment finalizes.
